This is a sore that has been created and it will certainly remain a talking point. some are still shocked as the result did not go their way. Members of government in their speech have shown that they are definitely going through harsh times and the opposition has displayed its desire to hurriedly return to power. Grenada is now open to serious verbal abuse and indifference by the populace and politicians! Oh how her pain will be great for many have voted only to save their face — not country!

        • Best Media Grenada 11:36 am on May 16, 2012 Permalink

What needs to be brought home most vividly to the politicians is that this drama that played out in Parliament yesterday was actually played out on the world stage and as such Grenada’s investment potentials are being weighed. Genuine investors have the rest of the world to choose from; they don’t need to come here. Some serious, well thought-out, well executed damage control has to be done and it has to start quickly, or else we’ll have to learn self-sufficiency very quickly. In a sense we can become as Cuba -embargoed, not just by the US and its allies but the rest of the world. However in this case we would have embargoed ourselves by the actions of over-zealous politicians on both sides of the House.
